Let me know on the permission slip if you have anything you could loan for that day. (It will be returned to you at the conclusion of our presentation.) Also let me know if you could help set up. It would take no more than a half hour of time. The kids were really excited about the idea, so with your help, we can hopefully add the Haunted House to our fun event.

DonŐt forget to check the assignment uploads page for assignments. I am now able to uploads assignments immediately from school. I have also suggested to students to put their work in their assignment notebooks or homework folders even if it is done so parents can see what their child is doing or not doing. I give time in school for students to begin work, but most kids will have some homework each night particularly in math.

Also I allow students to correct their math workbook for grade improvement. Many take advantage of this, but some do not. The students usually have a week to make corrections for the math chapter that was taught. I indicate this in the assignment page on my website. Ask your child to see the math workbook so you know he/she is getting the work and corrections done.

I appreciate your help on all this. I have also enjoyed emailing and talking with parents about your children. Please email me at any time if you have any questions or concerns. I believe communication with parents is so very important. If students know we are working together for their success, I believe they have more incentive to achieve and to try to do their best.
