The William Smith 4th grade class used computers throughout the project to create files for our Title 1 book and all
necessary files to upload to the web server
Students created their stories on the computer using the word processors AppleWorks or Microsoft Word
Some students with home computers wrote their stories at home and emailed them to Ms Szczerba
Pictures were created on 8.5" X 11" paper using classroom art supplies. They were scanned using an Apple Scanner and saved as JPEG files
Adobe Photoshop for Power Macintosh was used to process each students' picture. They were scaled down in size to fit the book and web pages
Macromedia Dreamweaver for Power Macintosh was used to develop the William Smith web pages
WebShocker for Power Macintosh was used to create the 'ringing bell' and other animations
