The Talking Computer

by Trisha

I was a girl genius. I wanted to create a special computer. I wanted it to do what an ordinary computer could do. However, I also wanted a computer that thought like a person so it could be my friend. Finally, I invented it. I was playing on my master computer. I was typing. It said, "What are you drawing?" I said, "I am drawing the sea." It said, "Do you want me to finish it?" I said, "OK." It did a good job. It even colored the picture. Having the computer was really neat. It could see what I could see. I asked it what it saw. It saw my living room, my dining room and my kitchen. The computer even saw my little sister watching me play on the computer. Then my mom came out and said, "Who are you talking to?" I said, "My lap top computer." She said, "Neat, let me try." It said, "HI! What is your name." My mom said, "Teresa." It said, "Hi, my name is Megabyte Master Computer." Then we became very good friends. We went for bike rides and I went roller blading with her. I strapped her to my back. I even took her to school. I worried that she would fall out of my straps and break and I would have to teach her all over again. My master computer said, "Don't worry. I have a special cover to protect myself. Also I can repair myself if I get broken."
